the luxurious life of the fashion set exposed OK,ralph lauren Outlet so we're nearly half way there. Day two evening highlights follow, but first I want to give you the inside scoop on the indulgences the fashion pack have been enjoying this week down at Sydney's Overseas Passenger Terminal. Like I've said before, it's a dirty job but someone has to do it. A surprise hit has to be the make your own Havaianas stand. Choose a strap width and colour then choose a base, and with a quick flick of the wrist, bespoke thongs are yours. Mine are a buttery gold base with thin silver straps and I'll be busting them out next summer for sure. We're also loving the styling services on offer at the decadent Redken Retreat. That's how I kick-started the week and I'm back again Wednesday am for a deluxe blow dry and a short mac while I catch up on my notes for the day ahead. What else, what else? Oh, have I mentioned the sausage sizzle at the Rosemount Bar? Yes, fashionistas and fashionmistas do eat, and it seems a mini gourmet sausage in a tiny bread roll really does hit the spot in between shows. Yum. So, back to the shows. Jessie Hill was cute to boot, with a grainy black and white film of the models beamed large as they trotted the catwalk at The Studio. Very rock and roll, as was much of the collection which was very big on black, from frothy circle skirts to heavy patent stompers and ruched black leggings. Speaking of leggings, you'll definitely want a pair come spring. They've been on some of the key catwalks this week and I know they're going to star at s vie by sass and bide on Thursday night as well. But the best I've seen so far are the shiny-matte combo with gold zips up the back of the calf that appeared at the Camilla Marc show and lovely Camilla herself was wearing when we caught up Tuesday afternoon. Those luxe leggings are top of my wishlist for the season ahead. Must have. The other thing on my wishlist is one of the black one-piece swimsuits from Jessie Hill. If you're the kind of girl who loathes bright bikinis but still wants a designer Aussie cossie, these are for you too. Very cool. Before I go, let's talk Alex Perry. This fashion veteran always puts on a show and a half. The extra half comes in the form of the red carpet arrivals and a front row that's primped and preened to the hilt. Mini cocktail frock? Check. Fake bake? Check. Tonged or flat-ironed hair? Check. It's all a bit over-the-top. But anything that brings Kerri-Anne Kennelly out for an evening has to be good, clean fun right? Joining her were the Australia's Next Top Model gang, including a glove-clad Jodhi Meares. David Jones wheeled Miranda Kerr out again and all the magazine editors were out in force. As for the collection? Well, I love me a bit of Alex and I have a special place in my heart for leopard print too. If you'd like to see what I mean, tune in to Fifteen Minutes of Fashion here on ninemsn today at 1pm Wednesday for my backstage chat with Alex as he talks me through the collection.
